How Can One Know If Hymen Is Broken During Intercourse?

Dear Doctor, I would sincerley like to know what it is I'am currently experiencing. I had gotten close with my boyfriend recently and he inserted his penis into my vagina and made slow movements. He did not fully penetrate, however i noticed blood on the sheet. We did not do anything thereafter as I was suprised. I have read about the Hymen and its location and want to find out if there is a possiblilty I may have broken my hymen with such slow movement to the vagina I'am really concerned. If it means I have does that mean I will never bleed again during intercourse as I hope to.i have irregular periods.while going for treatement whether doctors can find out the hymen broken.?

Thanks for sharing your health concern with us. I have gone through the query and here are your answers. 1. Hymen can be torn even with slow movement and with partial penetration. Pain/burning sensation/bleeding/spotting are observed. 2. As you have irregular periods, an impending period also is possible. 3. Once the hymen is torn, scarring occurs and after healing, further intercourse does not cause bleeding. 4. During a clinical evaluation, the examining doctor can detect a torn hymen. Hi,

During the first intercourse the hymen get torn off. If it is not your partner cannot come on you. Yes, while examination, we will know whether the hymen is ruptured or not. Mild bleeding will be there sometimes during hymen rupture.
