my son has been diagnosed with ringworm on his scalp with a prescription for antifungals after initially being given antibiotics that failed to do anything. Tonight it is oozing a pus out of several pores. Should we try to express the pus and put a warm compress on it?
I think you need to see his doctor as discharge of pus often indicates possibility of secondary bacterial infection rather than fungal infection itself.
