How Can Osteoarthritis In The Hips Be Treated?
I have been diagnosed with Osteoarthritis (pain in hips started in Dec 2016, pain in left shoulder started a few days ago). Are there any prescription drugs that can repair/rebuild cartilage in my joints. Also, a friend recommended Meloxin for pain (because it is gentle on digestive system). My Orthopedic Dr recommended a 15 day regiment of Aleive (start 4/day-1/day) my stomach is starting to feel whoosy. Thanks, Randy

Your symptoms seem to be related to side effects of Aleve. Stomach discomfort is a common side effect. I suggest you to use a gastro-protector such as Omeprazole daily in the morning before breakfast.
