How Can Osteoporosis Be Treated?

I was diagnosed with full blown osteoporosis in 2009 - I am trying to heal my bones naturally through my Natural Path Doctor. I just had a lower extremities bilat scano done for my chiro. It didn t mention anything about osteoporosis but it did mention that there is diffuse osteopenia. My question is when the bones are healing do they reverse back to osteopenia before total healing?

Hello
Thanks for writing us.

Osteoporosis the "fragile bone disease," is characterized by a loss of bone mass caused by a deficiency in calcium, vitamin D, magnesium and other vitamins and minerals.
Whereas Osteopenia is when your bones are weaker than normal but not so far gone that they break easily, which is the hallmark of osteoporosis.
It would not be wrong to say that when bones are healing from osteoporosis they do reverse back to osteopenia then to normal.
And I must say its a wise decision that you are healing your bones naturally.

Thanks
