I have been suffering otosclerosis for the last 15 years now for the last one and half year mixed hearing loss to the extant of 65 to 68 db. Kindly let me know permanent treatment .presrntly i am dependent on bone conductions.i want to get rid from hearing aids

As you know otosclerosis is abnormal growth of bones in the middle ear. Hearing aids doesn’t provide permanent cure. As a first line treatment, We can go for medical management like fluorides, if no improvement is seen surgical procedures like stapedectomy may be required.
