How Can Pain Above The Buttocks Caused Due To An Injury Be Treated?

I slipped going down the stairs yesterday and woke up this morning in excruciating pain. The pain is on my left side just above the buttocks. If I lean over or hunch, the pain subsides. When I stand/sit up strait or turn side to side, the pain is awful. Any suggestions on what is wrong and what I can do about it? Thanks!

hello,
First you need to some rest for injury to recover. You need to use otc like diclofenac spray or gel for local application, medicine like paracetamol or ibuprofen or diclofenac with antacid like pantoprazole, so visit local doctor for xray hip to rule out bony injury and get these medicine prescribed. You ll also need calcium and vitamin D supplements.
