How Can Pain After Hip Replacement Surgery Be Managed?
I AM A 60YR OLD MALE WITH LEFT HIP REPLACED AFTER 17 YR I GOT AN INFECTION NEVER REALLY IDENTIFIED AFTER 16WEEK OF INTRAVENOUS ANTI BIOTICS MY HIP WAS REMOVED WHILE I WAS ON ANTI BIOTICS AND SPACER WAS PUT IN THEN AFTER ANTI BIOTICS THEY GAVE ME A NEW LEFT HIP AND THE PROSTHESIS IS VERY BIG I AM IN PAIN I CAN NOT STAND UP STRAIGHT AND I AM A METHADONE PATIENT DOC THAT DID SURGERY TOLD ME TO GO TO PAIN CLINIC I WANT TO KNOW IF I WILL GET HELP FOR MY PAIN OR AM I GOING TO GET I DID GET A SCOOTER SO I CAN GET AROUND BUT I NEED PAIN MEDICATION CAN I GET HELP?
