How Can Pain And Fatigue While Suffering From Prostate Cancer Be Treated?

My husband is receiving fermagon injections for advanced prostate cancer. He is taking oxycotin and percoset for pain which is doing little to relieve the pain. He also tried methadone but was extremely tired, non-communicative, and sluggish thinking. Any suggestions for pain management?

Hi,

Pain due to cancer is very difficult to treat. I would suggest him patches of Bupivacaine. The details about local availability and prescription can be given only by your treating surgeon.
