How Can Pain And Itching On The Skin Be Treated?

I recently had cellulitis on my upper thigh..I was prescribed antibiotics and pain redness and pus are gone but it did peel and skin is cracked over area where there was peeling. Is it just the skin healing and Wat can I do to relieve the itch and pain from the skin drying out. How long does it usually take for this to stop.

1. Cover the area with Neosporin cream to prevent reinfection.
2. Cover the area with bandage.
3. Itching is a part of healing process so nothing to be worried for it.
4. Do a fasting blood sugar test.
