How Can Pain And Numbness In The Left Leg Be Treated?

I am having back problems which are going around my left side and causing pain and numbness in the front of my left leg. I have been told in the past that this can be caused by sacatica (spelling ?). I have been trying to do stretches but it does not seem to be getting better,

yes it may be due to sciatica. you have to get an MRI spine done for the diagnoses. Meanwhile Gabapentin may help
