How Can Pain And Red Sores In The Throat Be Treated?

I choked on some hot stew meat and that night I woke up with a horrible sore throat. It s been three days and I have a red sore in my throats and still having painful swallowing. My ear on that side hurts as well but it hurt after gettting the meat dislodged from my throat. Just wondering if it is possible that it burned me or that it s a coincide and probably have a virus or strep? No real fever just painful swallowing and ear hurting.

Hi,
Thanks for the query I understand your concern.
Your description of the event suggests that the piece of hot meat lodged in your throat causing heat burns to throat as such... leading to inflammation & red sores due to the heat. Pain in throat started when the meat piece was dislodged causing laceration & inflammation to throat .
secondàry infection with bacteria is easy for injured mucus membrane of mouth...as mouth is loaded with bacteria.
You need an antibiotic,anti inflammatory drugs(in dispersible tablet form or injection form , with B complex syrup /lactobacillus preparation & Antacid suspension /tess ointment to sooth mouth cavity.
Drink cold milk with sugar, or liqiud bland diet till healing is acheived.
Consult an ENT specialist earliest.
