Hi, i have ehlers danlos syndrome, hyper mobility type 3. I am 20 years old. It has not affected me very much throughout my life. I have always been extremely active. When I was 14 years old, I had bursitis in my hip. That is the only diagnosis I have been given pertaining my syndrome. Specifically my hips, and occasionally my knees and ankles are usually abnormally sore after strenuous activity. My hips have a tendency to bother me while I exercise. I currently play soccer 4 days a week. I woke up this past Saturday with extreme hip pain. It has lessened since but still exists as a dull pain. I did not injure it in any specific way. It hurts when pressure is applied as in walking and as in pressing with my hand. I am wondering if there is any treatment you recommend. I have been taking advil.
