How Can Pain And Swelling In The Ankles Be Treated?

Hi so I have a bed thats on risers and I fell off abnormally onto one of my feet causing the ankle to bear the weight resulting in a loud crack/pop noise. I can walk on it but it is extremely tender and some of my toes on the same foot are spasming. Its a burning pain, but not absolutely unbearable as I have a higher pain tolerance. The area hasn t shown signs of swelling but I ve been icing it, though the ankle itself has become numb.

Hello,

You may be suffering from bilateral knee osteoarthritis. Which may cause effusion or pain or swelling. So take rest, use icing, use compression with leg elevation. Use tablet Naprosyn twice a day for five days. If symptoms not improved, please consult your orthopedician he will examine and take x-ray then treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
