How Can Pain And Swelling In The Hand Be Treated?

Is there anything that can be done to alleviate the swelling and pain associated with coming into contact with Devils Club (Oplopanax horridus) My husband came into contact with it last week and his hand is horribly swollen and he is in considerable discomfort.

Hi. I have gone through your query.I would suggest:1- Inj Kenacort 40 mg 1 vial IM.2-- An Antihistaminic Tab Cetrizine 10mg twice a day.3-- Calamine Lotion for local application.
