How Can Pain And Swelling In The Joints Be Treated?

Hello, my daughter is experiencing pain & swelling in her joints (hands & feet). Having difficulty climbing stairs because her toes hurt. She says that a hot shower helps. She is 40 years old. Her GP ran some blood tests, but hasn’t come up with anything specific. Told her that he ruled out rheumatoid diseases. I was looking for a suggestion for what type of specialist she should see?
