How Can Pain And Swelling In The Knees Be Treated?

I had total replacement in 2015...has never stopped giving me pain yet. There is swelling around the knee, and any physical therapy causes my leg and/or knee to develop bruising. I haven’t had a good day since surgery. Surgeon keeps telling me there is nothing wrong with it. I know there is! Your opinion? YYYY@YYYY

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

As you underwent knee replacement, causes of knee pain and swelling may be due to an infection. Other causes may be improper physiotherapy, overuse, strain, sprain or blunt trauma. I'd suggest you to do MRI knee joint and consult with your surgeon. For pain you can take Tab. Tylenol.
Apply Ice over affected joint.

Take Care
