How Can Pain And Swelling In The Vagina Be Treated?
Hi, I had intercourse with my partner for longer than usual and I feel as if it there was insufficient lubrication about a week ago. Since then I have experienced swelling both internally & externally, redness and a slight sting while urinating. I am 15 weeks pregnant and feel as if as a result my body has had a bad reaction to not being lubricated enough. There is no irregular discharge, or any other symptoms and I only notice the discomfort while using the bathroom or being intimate. What does this sound like and what can I do to eliviate discomfort.
Hello dear, welcome to Ask a doctor service. I reviewed your query and here is my advice.
I suspect you may be suffering from a vaginal infection. I recommend you to do a vaginal smear. You can apply ice for swelling and wash it properly. Hope I have answered the question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
