How Can Pain And Swelling On The Index Finger Be Treated?

I got stung on my index finger on the inside bend this morning, it started swelling and throbbing with pain quickly and hasn t stopped. I took 1 benedril and have used ice pack, and baking soda patch nothing seems to be working. Is there any cream u would recommend OTC??

Stung bite if severe can cause similar kind of persistent symptoms. This will need oral combination of painkiller and anti inflammatory drugs like ibuprofen and acetaminophen. No cream will be effective. If symptoms persist despite of taking oral painkiller, better to consult doctor and get done clinical examination to rule out internal infection because of stung.
