How Can Pain And Swelling On The Lower Back Be Treated?
I slipped down 4 icy stairs and hit my lower left back and behind my ribs I have a huge black bruise that is swollen and sore on my left lower back. Sitting is uncomfortable - laying down flat or standing is okay. Gets more sore with exertion - I iced it the first night - any suggestions?
As per your complain you have problem of back pain and swelling that may be because of injury. Take a rest and avoid heavy weight lifting.
Avoid prolonged sitting .Avoid bending, lifting, sitting at lower chair. Painkiller and muscle relaxant can taken under doctor's suggestion. Still there is complain is present than take x ray and MRI for further diagnosis. Consult a orthopaedic doctor for further diagnosis.
I hope my guidance helpful to you. Take care. Thank you.
