How Can Pain Due To Rib Fracture Be Treated?

i have two fractured ribs and the doctor only gave me naproxen for pain. There is not enough pain relieving medicine in naproxen to get rid of a headache much less the pain in fractured ribs. Do you think I should go to a different doctor or the hospital.? or just suffer through it

Hello there and welcome to Ask a doctor service. I have read through your question and here is my opinion. If you are not being relieved by naproxen then you may take a stronger pain killer like Tab Tramadol which is a good drug for relieving pain in fractures. However it is a prescription drug and you will have to get it prescribed from your general physician. I hope that answers your question. Let me know if I can assist you further. Have a nice day.
