How Can Pain In A Dislocated Finger Be Treated?

I think I dislocated my finger and it’s been hurting the past month. I can barely bend it, apply pressure on it, or grab anything without feeling intense amount of pain. If I try popping it to relieve the pressure I immediately feel a sharp amount of pain. What should I do and whom should I consult?

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

It seems like minor sprain or contusion.
Fracture is very unlikely.
You can take analgesics like Ibuprofen or Diclofenac for pain.
Apply ice packs over the affected areas.
If pain persist, consult an orthopedic.
