General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

As per my clinical experience, the pain due to chronic hepatitis C with fibrosis of advanced cirrhosis is a critical situation and many of the drugs are not safe during such period.

The safest molecule would be dicyclomine and tramadol hydrochloride if renal function is fairly controlled.

Acetaminophen, diclofenac and ibuprofen are usually not considered safe for such issue.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
