General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,
Thank you for trusting HealthcareMagic for your health concern

The pain and hardness you are noticing is likely due to hematoma and muscle strain associated with fall.
You can apply ice on affected area every 1-2 hours.
You can also take Ibuprofen 400 mg upto 4 times daily for pain.
If you do not notice any improvement in 3-4 days, follow up with your primary care provider to get an Xray lumbar spine and pelvis done to rule out fracture.

Hope this answers your questions
