How Can Pain In The Buttocks Due To An Injury Be Treated?
I fell walking down stairs 9 days ago. My foot slipped off a step and I landed hard on my butt. No bruising. I was sore, as would be expected, for the first few days. Now the pain is pretty significant. Sitting is good, standing is good....it the getting up and getting doen that is unbearable. (10 on a scale of 1-10). Lifting is out of the question. Is it posslible I cracked something or should I wait it out? I have been taking Advil, Asprin and Ibuprofin on a rotating basis

How Can Pain In The Buttocks Due To An Injury Be Treated?
Hello, As a first line management, you can take analgesics like Paracetamol or Aceclofenac for pain relief. If symptoms persist better to go for an MRI scan to look for deep involvement. Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further. Regards, Dr. Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
