How Can Pain In The Calf Muscle Be Treated?

I got accidently hit by my younger cousin on the left side of my calf muscle pretty hard. The doctor took xray and sonogram but didnt find anything. And now i am having muscle relaxation and pain relievers since past 17days. Yet I am still not able to walk smoothly and in pain. Although, their is decline of pain threshold but it still hasnt improved as expected by the doctor. Please tell me what could be done to treat it further and get relieved from it permanently.
