How Can Pain In The Groin Area Be Treated?

I FELL TWO WEEKS AGO AND VERY PAINED IN THE GROIN AREA. I KEPT WORKING OUT EVERY DAY. UNTIL I FOUND OU T I SHOULD BE ICING IT WITH WARM AND COLD. I HAVE BEEN APPLYING DICLOFLAM CREAM AS WELL. WHEN I STEP DOWN IT STILL HURTS. SHOULD I GO TO A PHYSICAL THERAPIST OR WILL IT GO AWAY WITH REST

Hello,

See, since you had a trivial trauma to the area, it would be injured and have become weak. So now if you start your regular routine and if you start lifting weights and all it might lead to herniation of that area. So, kindly do lift more weight and so any strenuous exercises.

If you still feel the pain you can take some painkiller drugs like Paracetamol, Ibuprofen, Tramadol, Diclofenac, and etcetera.

These will give you temporary relief. If you want permanent relief, then you need to give some time for the tissue to heal by caring the things above mentioned.
