How Can Pain In The Head And Weakness In The Legs After An Injury Be Treated?

i really hurt myself in the shower Friday. i had not been feeling well for the last couple of days, and to make a long story short, i passed out, hit my head on the cement soap dish, came to, with such pain, and i have not done much since then. my legs are very weak, like jelly. do not know what to do. i am a white 62 year old female. what s wrong with me?

Hello,

You may be suffering from post-concussion syndrome which is what can happen after a trauma to head as you describe. It can include headaches, lethargy, malaise, difficulty concentrating, and other changes in mood or affect.
I suggest you consult a neurologist or brain injury specialist to be fully examined and assessed for this or other injuries that may have occurred during that fall.
