Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I injured my knee a little over 2weeks ago it feels much better than it did but I still have pain in my knee and can t bend it much or walk on it still when I try to I get a pain in the lower half of my leg and calve how much longer will it take to heal up and should I be checking back in with my doctor to make sure I am not making it worse?
Hi Thanks for trusting healthcaremagic for your health issues.
May I know if any investigations like x-ray / MRI was done after your knee injury before 2 weeks. If not then my advice is you should do. You are complaining of pain in calf and difficulty in bending knee joint there might be ligament / meniscal injury. You should consult orthopedic doctor. Till then you can take Tablet aceclofenac 100 mg as and when required for pain relief (not more than 2 times in 24 hour).
Regards Dr. Hiren
