How Can Pain In The Knees Be Treated?

I have had a pain in my knee, its on the inner side of my right knee and I have tried elevating and brace, compression wrap and all the works but its been almost 2 weeks now and it has had no progress if not worse somedays, im not sure what it is or how to fix it. It keeps popping in and out a lot and I cannot put my full weight on. This is not the first time it has happened, but it is taking a while to heal.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

You seem to have possible medial ligament injury of the affected knee joint. MRI of the joint would pinpoint the cause.

Followed by specific treatment (medicines/physiotherapy /orthoscopic surgery as per expert advice).

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Vasudha Jayant Athavale
