How Can Pain In The Left Arm Be Treated?

While lifting a heavy object my left arm seemed to be strained as it is in pain shoots up from the wrist to below the bicep when lifting or reaching out. For relief before going to sleep, can Cyclobenzaprine 5MG be used if already taking Metoprolol Succer 25MG? Please advise. Thanks.

General Surgeon 's  Response
The strain of lifting the heavy object has over stretched your arm muscles or possible strained a few ligament fibers. All what is required is to give complete rest to the arm till the pain and discomfort has completely resolved. Otherwise this can lead to chronic ligament or muscle pain, which would take much longer time to heal.
