How Can Pain In The Left Arm Be Treated?

GM. My left arm hurts so bad it wakes me n he middle of them night. The pain is deep down. I went my orthopedic Dr and there is no break. Nothing is stopping the pain. I had X-rays. Also years ago I had two stints put in my heart. Could this be my heart warning me of an attack. Set up for a MRI on the 7th.. Anything can happen before the 7th.

Hi,

The differential diagnosis i wld consider is
1. Muscular pain
2. Cardiac pain.

If the pain is associated with sweating, dizziness, nausea, vomiting and breathlessness it cld due to cardiac issue. Before your MRI if you are having any of this symptoms r if your are doubtful kindly get an ECG and ECHo done to rule out major health issues related to heart. If this two are normal you can wait.

For muscle pain, you can take a simple analgesic and rest. If it dosnt reduce kindly meet a doctor.

Thank u
