Hello Dr. I do have a disease called CRPS (RSD) on my left hand for the past yr, now went to my right hand, I had to go to another dR. for evaluation of the right hand. He told me that all the other drs are wrong and he wants me to have a Nerve test. My pain is so excruciating how can I do this? Hello, are you there?

Hello,

CRP syndrome commonly occurs in patients that have had local trauma, and often affects one limb, it is accompanied by changes in color of the limb and local swelling on the affected area. It is important to have a nerve test, to rule out nerve damage.

You can use painkillers: Ibuprofen, three times a day.Paracetamol+codeine phosphate twice daily. Applying ice or cold packs for pain relief. If the pain doesn't improve significantly, you can also try using Tramadol drops prescribed by your doctor.

Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
