How Can Pain In The Legs Due To Multiple Sclerosis Be Treated?
Hi, I have multiple sclerosis and am experiencing leg pain. I have been checked for DVT twice now and it came back as negative both times. The thing is everytime I experience this pain in my leg it strongly resembles the symptoms of dvt. So I continuously think what if I do have dvt and they missed it. Im not sure if this is serious and need attention right away or if I should just let it go because it might just be my multiple sclerosis..
Hello DVT has its own symptoms. Leg pain is just one of its symptoms which could be seen in MS too. If you don't have unilateral swelling then it probably is not DVT. However, DVT diagnosis is made by color doppler ultrasonography of veins. If you have done it so be sure that you don't have DVT. to relieve your leg pain due to MS consult with a neurologist
