General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

The pain is due to disc bulge and associated nerve compression. As first-line management, you can take analgesics like paracetamol or aceclofenac for pain relief.

You can also consider drugs like tramadol. If symptoms persist better to consult an orthopaedician and plan for a steroid injection to the spine.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
