How Can Pain In The Lower Back Be Treated?

I had nerve burns for my L2 L3L4 two weeks ago, as of right now no results, how long does it take to know if it is going to help. I have been told to see full results 2 weeks also up to 4 weeks. if it does not work they are wanting to put in a stimulator for the pain, I already have one in for my seizures ( VNS ). Does that work for my lower back pain, I had back surgery with fusion at my L5. Thanks..

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

As per your history, it may be a low backache. Kindly do MRI back with spine screening. You may require tab. Aceclofenac, Diclofenac ointment after consultation. Kindly consult with orthopaedic to rule out another possibility of a backache or it is related to the spinal surgery. Treatment mainly depends upon the underlying conditions.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
