How Can Pain In The Neck Be Treated?

I have been suffering for the last 1.5 years with neck pain that hasn t diminished much from PT, pain injections, etc... Havent given up hope yet, but today I observed a new situation. My neck was feeling pretty good, and I hadn t eaten much so I was hungry, and then all of a sudden my neck started hurting quite a bit. It then dawned on me that a similar thing happened the other day. I hadn t eaten for a while and then my neck started hurting. Coincidence or could there be something here?
