How Can Pain In The Neck, Face And Jaw Be Treated?
I injured my neck from a fall Dec 3, 2015. I had some pain off and on and about 6 moonths later I started having consistent pain at neck, face, jaw and has now spread to stabbing pains around my ribs & shoulders. Pain radiates & migrates. Also my entire body muscles are very sensitive & hurt to the touch. Also, I have severe fatigue and now I ve started feeling short of breath when I do very simple movements. Pain management specialists have tried several injections at my neck & thoracic area.
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
Pain in the neck may be not related previous injury. it may appers like cervical spondylosis with radiculopathy or fibromyalgia or neck muscle spasm. Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is. Do yoga and meditation , use regular exercise, avoid head end elevation during night. Use pain killer and muscle relaxant medication. if symptoms not improved please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
