How Can Pain In The Pelvic Area After An Injury Be Treated?

Hi , I missed a bottom step and fell on my right side. Falling on my hip and shoulder. Now my pelvis area is sore especially after sitting or resting. After getting up and walking a while it goes away, returns after resting again...trying to decide to go to md or chiropractor. Shoulder was sore and fine now. Hip seems to be fine too.
