How Can Pain In The Ribcage On The Left Side Indicate?
I have problem for 3 weeks my left side under my ribs and kidney area like ripping pain from 1 to 10 my pain 3 I did centigram my left side area and kidney every thing was good when I sitting position more pain if am standing no pain as much some time no pain

The ripping pain under your ribs and kidney area could be due to :
- radiculopathy (compression of nerve root coming out from the spinal cord)
- kidney stones
Get an MRI of the spinal cord, X-ray of lumbar area, abdominal ultrasound, urine analysis and kidney function test to determine the right diagnosis.
Take oral pain killers like naproxen/mephenamic acid.
