How Can Pain In The Upper Arm Be Treated?

Friday afternoon my wife fell & broke her shoulder (left humeral neck fracture) The emerge. room sent us home and said to go to medical center Monday morning for treatment. Imobilized the arm and sholder and wrapped it...provided pain killers and wished us well. Now, Sunday night, still in pain the upper arm is hot to the touch...what should we do?

Hi!

I would advice you to visit an orthopedic as soon as possible for corrective measures. He will evaluate the fracture and suggest if it needs a closed reduction with only casting or a surgery if need be.
