My ear aches are sometimes worse I find Can I take throat lozenges I need to eat I m so hungry
First of all it's sad to know what you had been going through lately. Based on the history you have shared, you need to get it reviewed again by the otolaryngologist as to rule out surgical site infection or peritonsillar abscess as symptoms are more aggressive than what is expected post-tonsillectomy.
Meanwhile using gargles with mouthwashes and lozenges if helpful can be continued. If Tylenol isn't working, Ibuprofen can be used as well.
Antibiotics and coenzyme 10 may also be needed to use for a better recovery. Lukewarm saline water gargles can also be helpful.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Saddiq Ulabidin, General & Family Physician
