How Can Painful Blisters In The Mouth Be Treated?

My 87 year old mother has blisters through out her month for 8 months . Very painful. She cannot wear her dentures. She has been to her dentist with no help. We have been to 4 doctors with no diagnosis. We will travel to a larger hospital if necessary. I prefer a specialist to respond. immunologist?
