How Can Painful Blocked Ear Be Treated?
Hi, I have for the past week had a blocked ear that on the first day was very painful.. The pain subsided into a dull ache but now my ear is swollen and the left side of my face is numb as well,, I thought it was maybe a build up of wax initially but now I am not sure. Can you help?

Hi,
It seems that you might be having acute infection in your external ear giving all these problems.
This infection can be due to impacted wax as well.
Go for one course of antibiotic and anti-inflammatory medicine course for 3-5 days.
Put antibiotic ear drops.
Ok and take care.
