How Can Painful Fibromyalgia And Arthritis Be Treated?

Hello Am female, 70 years of age, have chronic pain and take tramadol 50HCL50 mg tablet up to 4 times daily Works well for my pain but wented to know if it is opiate. Have no side effects and does a fairly good job of relieving my fibromyalgia pain and associated arthritis are there any pain meds out that are effective that arent opioids?jimharrison YYYY@YYYY

Tramadol is an opioid but the risk of addiction and dependence on it is not very high, if this is your concern.
There are alternative pain killers such as anti inflammatory meds- Celebrex, Naproxen, Ibuprofen but these have their own potential effects though, you may not have any problems with them.
