How Can Painful Intercourse Without A Dilation Kit Be Managed?

Hello. I am a 26 year old female and do not feel horny anymore. I lost my virginity to my fiance last year. I used a dialation kit to be able to accomodate him and we have been able to have sex a few times. But we stopped for a bit and have been having trouble having sex again. It is terribly painful for me and I find that the bottom part of the vaginal opening burns when anything is inserted. What can I do to fix this ?

Hi,

Considering your age there are few factors which can cause painful coitus
1.     Dryness - which is very common due to less foreplay from the partner, any infection, stress, diabetes. You can prevent by increasing the foreplay, use Ky gel, see a gynecologist to rule out infection.
2.     Injury - forceful sex or using objects during sex can injure and cause pain for long, you can use painkillers and abstinence from intercourse for a week.
3.     Vaginismus - vaginal muscle not compatible with sex, need gynecologist review.
4.     Congenital abnormality.
5.     History of surgery in the genital region.
6.     Injury of the cervix by penis by forceful sex.
7.     Fibroids.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
