I had an xray done bout 2 years ago and they said i have osteoarthritis of the thoracic spine. Having alot of pain lately after doing like normal every day activities. The pain is getting almost unbearable. I taken ibuprofen, aleve, tylenol arthritis and it sometimes helps and other times it doesn t help until I sit or lay down. The pain this evening was to the point it is almost making me sick. The pain is in my upper back just below my shoulder blades and it radiates across my back. Is there anything I can do if it is osteoarthritis, or could it possibly be gallbladder ?
Hi Thanks for trusting HealthCare magic for your health problems.
Osteoarthritis pain are best treated with aceclofenac tablets 12 hourly. However one thing you should keep in mind is that gives you only symptoms relief. Hot fomentation also provides pain relief. Further damage to the joints can be prevented by making Para vertebrae muscles stronger by physiotherapy. If problem is severe you can consult spine surgeon for surgical treatment.
