General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,
Thank you for trusting HealthcareMagic for your health concern

Panic attacks are treated by combination of psychotherapy and medication like SSRI (eg;sertraline). However, it is important to rule out any underlying organic causes first. So please be advised to get an EKG, chest Xray and pulmonary function testing done.
