Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
Delusional Disorder can be very difficult to treat in part because its sufferers often have poor insight and do not recognize that a psychiatric problem exists.
Studies show that close to half of patients treated with antipsychotic medications show at least partial improvement.
Treat her with antipsychotic drugs and behavior therapy. Please consult your psychiatrist as he will examine and treat her accordingly.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
