Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Ciprofloxacin covers most of the organisms causing UTI, so it is fine but sometimes the bug may be resistant to it.

You didn't mention if the UTI symptoms are gone or it is still there. If it has improved, you just need to complete the course. If not, I would suggest you to talk to your doctor as we generally send a urine culture and sensitivity in such cases that will shoo the germ and drugs are prescribed based on the ultrasound report.

These are common findings in UTI and should not be a lot worrying. The prostate size is not mentioned though the PVR is not too high. Generally the treatment of the enlarged prostate depends on its symptoms.

If the symptoms are there, that is difficulty in passing urine, poor stream, dribbling, then treatment is recommended and if no symptoms are there then we can just follow it.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Mahboob Ur Rahman
