I AM 27 YEAR OLD FEMALE, I AM AFFECTED WITH PERFORATED EAR DRUMS (CHRONIC OTITIS MEDIA). ENT DOCTOR ADVISED FOR CT SCAN - PARANASAL SINUSES ( CORONAL & AXIAL). CT SCAN IMPRESSIONS ARE, 1. CHANGES OF MILD RIGHT MAXILLARY & BILATERAL SPHENOID SINUSITIS. 2. DNS TOWARDS RIGHT WITH MILD BILATERAL INFERIOR TURBINATE HYPERTROPHY. 3. BONY SEPTAL SPUR SEEN IMPINGING ON RIGHT NASAL CAVITY. 4. LEFT CONCHA BULLOSA. PLEASE SUGGEST THE TREATMENT FOR ALL THESE COMPLAINTS.
hello, thanks for Your query,as per ct pns, you need to undergo septoplasty+ turbinectony+ fess first , followed by tympanoplasty after 2 -3 months. as such nose is connected to ear, for ear surgery to be sucessful , you have to undergo nose surgery. hope I have answered your query. all the best. take care.
